Should we really have it now? or should we hold off on BiS arguments… or do we want to faceroll everything in the game without worrying about the target’s HP regening or going up? what about the next zone, how will this effect that gameplay? PvP- it’s clear how important this perk is, but should we allow BiS to come by so easily? is it hard to get this item vs crafting something of the same nature? why should it be easier? why should it be harder? all questions we have to consider when wanting to move forward to future proof these items and or the perks along with it. When people finally see the light and realize that plagued anything is HUGE to have on any weapon to net kills… healers, dps/bruisers and tanks… this is the bane to all life in NW even in vampiric mutations. Refreshing Evasion can be attained in armor, so it seems pointless to add it to a weapon. Refreshing Move will give us a useful perk to lower CD. It does feel like mages get shafted a lot when it comes to dungeons, first with the Absolute Terror change from Keen → Refreshing, and now this again.Ĭhanging it to Plagued Crits will allow mages to assist in the heal meta in wars. This will actually give people like me that have grinded the dungeon a dozen times to get the IG, FS, and VG, something useful. Instead of doing Refreshing Evasion, consider Refreshing Move (an actual weapon perk) or Plagued Crits (so we can do something about this healer prone meta). Why would you take this away from us again? While str/dex/focus all get actual BiS like Blackguard Warhammer, Smooth Bone Ring, etc, mages get… nothing that’s true BiS.

I personally don’t PVE at all, but since Tempest came out, I ran the dungeon 10 times, and I had a blast. This feels incredibly arbitrary, lazy, and is a huge slap to mages that have been asking for better dungeon gear since October. Absolute Terror as well (esp after the change to Refreshing…)īut I was super disappointed to find out that Blackguard’s Plagued Strikes will be turned to Refreshing Evasion. Firevine Battlestaff is nice, but it’s not anywhere near BIS. To be honest, I was so excited about the Tempest dungeons because for the first time, mages actually get some good BIS weapons from dungeons.
